Buttermilk is only for cooking, imo. :) I don't normally keep it on hand, so when a recipe calls for it, I'll put some vinegar into my regular milk. The berries look very pretty in your milk jug! I love the way the sun dances with the shadows, don't you? It's so perfectly delightful, and made for a dramatic photo. I also love the milk jug you put the berries in, and your kitchen mats are so spring like and cheery.

I don't drink buttermilk from the store, but when I make butter on occasion, I LOVE to drink the buttermilk remaining from the process - it's absolutely the most delicious buttermilk!

Blessings and hugs,

Marianne xoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6365611908359581565.post-44038438257631397772015-02-03T10:50:07.033-05:002015-02-03T10:50:07.033-05:00Beautiful berries, perfect container! I'm not a fan of drinking buttermilk, and never seem to have it on hand for baking either. But when I do, it makes a big difference in the quality of the finished product. If I don't have it I end up adding vinegar or lemon juice to milk and it's not quite the same. Lorriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03653026442945027184noreply@blogger.com
