In The Garden on Valentine's Day

Because we are bracing for a blast of winter weather and, more importantly, because today is Valentine's Day, I thought you might enjoy a stroll through the garden.  It may be cold outside, but in the garden the sun is shining and the bees are buzzing.
Feel free to bring your clippers to snip a bouquet for your Valentine's table.

Don't forget to light the candles.

 ♥♥♥

Happy Valentine's Day from me to you.

♥♥♥

Edited to add:  All garden photos from previous years.  I only wish they were all blooming now.

  1. Kim, I saw your red rose on my blog, and had to come over a take a peek. These pictures are beautiful. And I love that candle holder with the rose and words. My garden is looking pretty bare right now, and hoping my roses will come again in spring.

    Happy Valentine's Day to you.

    love, ~Sheri

  7. Kim, we have flowers blooming here near Dallas too. I was out cleaning the flower bed the other day and discovered that my daisies and irises are blooming. Mine doesn't look as pretty as yours though and there's no sign of a butterfly.

Stay warm and protect those beautiful blooms. Happy Valentine's Day. :)

  12. Hi again Kim, Do you live in Michigan now? We lived in Pt. Huron, Michigan for over 30 years. I grew up on a farm about 8 miles from Au Gres, MI. Thanks you for commenting on my blog! Nancy

  16. This post puts a whole new face onto the holiday of Valentine's Day! Flowers in your gardens, with bees along with it, is not something I am familiar with. So beautiful! Then, when you mentioned a bouquet of those flowers, candles burning, and such a sweet sentiment at the end, I was so blessed! Even though I am way behind on my visits, my heart is happier from being here!
