This is the sight I saw when I opened the blind in the front bedroom this morning.
Shortly after that I opened the blind above my desk and this was the view. When we moved in it was rather quiet on our end of the street. There were no homes across the street or to the left of us.
Looks like that is about to change.
❆❄❅
How are things looking in your neck of the woods on this last day of January?
Are you staying warm? My gosh, it's been unbelievably cold for a lot of you. Here it's currently 39 and sunny, yet I have on two sweaters and my slipper socks. Wimp!
Tomorrow morning I'll be going to a new dentist for part 1 of a crown. Double Wimp!! I was feeling so good about myself while eating a healthy breakfast of Greek yogurt, berries and homemade granola. That is until the part of the granola that seemed awfully hard turned out to be a piece of my tooth. Ugh! So, my white knuckles and I will be starting the new month off reclined in the dental torture chamber chair. 😁
Can you tell how excited I am?
Wishing you all the best at the dentist. I would fill them in on your anxiety before he or she does a thing. Saying a prayer right now leat I forget tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteOh you’re going to have a noisy while and then a neighborhood. I rather like neighborhoods having lived in one all my adult life. John was not so much a fan, but even he enjoyed chatting it up with the neighbors.
Maybe you new best friend will be moving in there one day. :)
ReplyDeleteWe had a sunny day but a high of 4 degrees.
Good luck at the dentist. At least a trip to the dentist is a lot better than it used to be years ago!!
Oh, I empathize with you about the dental torture chamber. Pray lots, breathe deeply, and know that it will soon be over. It's fun to watch construction happening!
ReplyDeleteOh dear! I hope all goes well at the dentist ( or at least as well as a visit to a dentist ever could go,)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the dentist.
ReplyDeleteIt should be interesting watching new buildings going up. I hope they will be attractive new homes. Some of the houses round here are atrocious!

ReplyDeleteI hope your dentist appt went well. It's something I've had to have done and so glad I did! Enjoy your week! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh, Kim...I sure feel for you! I've had about 4 or 5 crowns now; the last one being last August. And I found out a few weeks ago at my dentist appt, that I need another one! Then dentist even said to me, "I'm so sorry." I have terrible dental phobia as it is, so this news was really hard for me to hear. They asked me when I was checking out if I'd like to make the appt then and I said no. I'm procrastinating. I just can't face it again this soon. I'm not in any pain, so I figure I can wait a little longer. I see from your latest post that things went OK for you...I'm so glad.
