The rain fell morning, noon & night.
Rainy days & Mondays don't have to get us down.
What does this have to do with rainy days?
Not a single thing.
I just wanted to share my new shoes. I have been wanting some shoes to wear around the house. I was looking for lightweight, comfy with no shoelaces. I wanted some that were as comfortable as slippers, but made me feel ready to take on the day. I found them yesterday. Today I have happy feet. Just one more of the little things that can make an ordinary day a little better.
I hope your Monday was a good one & your week is even better
We could have definitely 'hung out' together today! I had a wonderful rainy Monday! And I had to go look at my Bath and Body candle to see if it was the same one you have...but mine is Cinnamon and Clove buds. I love all the Fall scents! I hope the sun comes out tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the smile this evening after my very busy day. Your post really did cause me to catch my breath and relax. It seems to me, that you have a way of making even long, rainy days, special. The pictures are so pretty, and your shoes look so comfy. Maybe tomorrow the sun will shine and you can take a walk in your new shoes.
ReplyDeleteI like your shoes!!
ReplyDeleteThe first thing I do when I walk in the house is to take off my shoes - never wear them in the house.
Sometimes its nice to have a rainy day.
Hope you have sunshine tomorrow.
I'm going to the store tomorrow to get me some of that creamer. That looks delish. Like the shoes too. And I like your little sparkly pumpkin. It's been dark, dreary and cold outside today. But inside, the smell of Vanilla Pumpkin Yankee Candles in the air.
ReplyDeleteYou're right; rainy days (Mondays) don't have to get us down.

Hi Kim,
ReplyDeleteToday was a drizzly day here in south Texas. We've had such a long drought, the moisture we receive is so welcome.
I hope our store has the creamer, it sounds so yummmy.
I'd have happy feet too, with those good looking shoes.
hugs,
Dolores
I was really looking over the details in your photos, then...feet! I laughed, and thought, "feet?"...so glad you found a nice comfy pair of shoes. I love my acorn house shoes and wear my crocs inside often too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your thoughtful comment on my last post.
Hi Kim
ReplyDeleteIt was a rainy day here yesterday too and I cleaned all day and fluffed things up a bit. We had candles at dinner to soften the dullnes.
I am having a lunch for NC/SC bloggers and I'd love it if you could come. I don't know how far you are from Charlotte. There is information about it on my sidebar.
Hugs, Rhondi
Yes, it's been several of those kind of days around here!
ReplyDeleteLove the shoes! They look comfy.
Thanks for sharing.
Are they sketchers...on your happy feet? I have some almost the same & they make my feet smile as well!
ReplyDeleteA perfect Monday post...and it makes me smile on Tuesday as well.
They look like very comfortable shoes! I have been enjoying waering a pair of Crocs around the house. They are light, comfortable and colorful! :-)
ReplyDeleteI finally found that creamer this week. My daughter had it in Oklahoma 3 weeks ago. I guess they don't think Missourians need it that soon.
ReplyDeleteWe are having rain, rain and more rain too.
Keep dry and warm!
Hi Kim, your pictures are just the cutest. Ahhhhhh, don't you love rainy days?
ReplyDeleteHope your Fall is going great!!
Barb ♥
Kim,
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that you found something to be happy about even on a rainy day. Cute shoes!
Gretchen
We had that same rainy day. But what do you do when it's yucky outside??? Go shopping. That's what my sister and I did.
ReplyDeleteCute shoes!
I'm glad you have happy feet!
ReplyDeleteIt's been raining here too....I'm so ready for some sunshine. I like all your warm cozy settings. Candles always help on a rainy day.
Hugs,
Donna
Kim, hope your skies have cleared and there's a spring in your step! Enjoy your weekend! Twyla
ReplyDeleteYou have the right idea....I like to do the same thing!!!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog. I'm lovin' it along with the new shoes. In fact I just bought a pair very similar to them. I think in my old age I like things that are easy! I have to agree with you on the great find of the new mug. How could you resist?
ReplyDeleteI love rainy days Kim! They make our homes feel even cozier. They are great for working on stitching or quilting or reading a good book. They make tea taste even better.
ReplyDeleteGreat shoes. I bought two pairs of shoes in Germany over the weekend. We found an orthopedic shop and they could put an old pair of my specially made soles in the one pair while the other are Birkenstocks and one of the few store bought shoes I am allowed to wear indoors. They are wool felt on top and nice and warm for my feet. Enjoy your new shoes.
Hugs ~
Heidi
