Shopping for Spring Inspiration

Recently I visited one of my favorite shops, Salem Creek.   Do you know how some shops just lift your spirits the moment you walk through the door?  The sight, sounds and smells are delightful.  Well, that is how Salem Creek was on my visit.  It was a bit like stepping out of winter into Spring.

As I wandered from beautiful display to beautiful display, I envisioned coming home and re-creating this Spring haven in my own home.

Having a few hours of free time at home today, I wasn't feeling quite ambitious enough to tackle the whole house.

So, I did the next best thing . . .
Brought a touch of Spring to the kitchen table.  Sometimes that's good enough to send those winter blues packing.  At least until the next wave of ambition hits :-).

I will be back soon to answer a few questions from my last post including the bran muffin recipe.

Until then, stay warm & think Springy thoughts!!

  2. Probably yellow and blue is my most favorite color combination so you can imagine how much your touch of spring nook there made me smile. I must find out what this Salem Creek is all about...thanks for providing the link. I thought your pictures here were Salem Creek at first...you could dress store windows...you're that good!

  7. Every little bit helps, Kim. I noticed that the birds are behaving differently all the sudden. The male cardinals are starting to get territorial. That is an indication of Spring for sure. Can't come soon enought for me:)
