I think iced tea just might taste better in a daisy covered glass.
And I'm convinced the lemon is mixed in better with a daisy swizzle stick.
Daisies seem to be occupying my thoughts this week. It could be because I recently watched one of my favorite old movies, "Please Don't Eat The Daisies" or it might be because the daisies in my garden are just beginning to bloom.
It might be because they were my mom's favorite flowers and I always think of her when I see them or it might be because of the joy I receive after visiting Kim at Dear Daisy Cottage.
In fact, it was this post that inspired me to buy this little oil painting when I was at the thrift shop today.
Whatever the reason, I'm glad to be seeing daisies this week because they are such a happy flower and happy is how I want to be.
~ I want to be happy, but I won't be happy, til I make you happy too ~
Have a happy day!!
Oh Kim what a beautiful post and beautiful pictures. I'm like you, I so enjoy my time at Daisy Cottage. She was one of the first blogs I found a few years ago, (when I didn't even have a blog of my own). I would have her blog up at times just to listen to the music while I cleaned my house.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you and thanks for the daisies for me today! ((hugs))
The painting is really beautiful and I love it together with the freshly-cut daisies!
