Hey gals, Mother's Day is almost here and in honor of all the hard working moms out there, I invite you to take off your aprons, set down your mixing bowls and come on over for a visit. I've been out buying flowers today and it's nearly 90 degrees. I'm so ready for a few minutes to put up my feet and sit and chat. Won't you join me?
Please have a seat and make yourself comfortable.
Can I get you a cup of coffee or tea? Perhaps on this warm day you'd prefer a cup of my frosty spiced iced tea?
I'll be right back with those drinks, but in the meantime, I hope you'll enjoy the flowers.
And the butterflies. . .
And tell me all about your plans for Mother's Day.
I'm all ears.
What beautiful tea cups! Your flowers are very colorful. Even on a warm day hot tea hits the spot.
ReplyDeleteLast Sunday when both my sons were able to get together they surprised me, so my big celebration was last weekend. My hubby will be grilling on Sunday. :)
Thank you for your good wishes and Happy Mother's Day to you!
Judy

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and flowers...I do love your posts! I'm going with hubby in the A.M. to see my sweet momma Ruth...she's 84 and lives 3 and 1/2 hours from here...can't wait...taking flowers, a quilt and a computer!!! She wants to learn about blogs!!!
ReplyDeleteHello again!! Thanks for all the info. Someone mentioned updated editor but I had no idea where that was until you explained. So thanks again.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about your mom. I can only imagine how it must be this first year. Every year I think,"I hope this isn't my last Mother's Day"--morbid but true. Liberal, Ks is on the Prairie for sure! I live on the edge of the prairie...somewhere in the middle of the state and the nation...Just about the geographical center! Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions!!! Love, Jammie
Hi! The flowers are gorgeous and I'd love to sit down for some tea...probably iced if it's 90 degrees. My mother is coming tomorrow for an early Mother's Day Tea. Wish you were here to decorate!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim,

I am so thankful that I visited your blog this morning. What a gracious and kind hearted invitation. The beauty of the flowers and the china tea cups certainly do say "welcome" to me. I would love to sit at your lovely table and talk. I would love to hear all about your Mother. I am sure this weekend will be a difficult time for you, and yet you extend this welcome to each of us. Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day to you ! Lovely flowers and thanks for the chat and tea. :) I LOVE hydrangeas, but sadly have never see any on this side of the world.. Those little topiaries are sweet and perfect on your mantel. Our temps are near to 100 this weekend. But blue skies and sunshine always make me happy. We haven't had dust in a week. Yahoo! Many blessings to you, tammy
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day to you! Thank you for the invitation. Your table is so inviting with the gorgeous flowers and the the pretty cup and saucers......
ReplyDeleteOur children and grandchildren will be here for Mother's Day...... looking forward to it.
Again, Happy Mother's Day to you!
Hi Kim! Normally I'm a coffee girl but your iced spiced tea sounds delicious! I wanted to wish you a very happy Mother's day. May it be filled with warm memories. The last two or three years we've gone to Silver Dollar City in Branson for Mother's day and unless it rains, that's our plans for tomorrow. Twyla
