After a long quiet winter, waking up to a birdie chorus makes me want to ...
Picking my first bouquet of these also makes me want to SING ...
'Cause no matter what the calendar says, I know that these two things can only mean one thing ...
Now doesn't that just have a nice . . .
:), ;-), =), :)
And to think the hubby rolled his eyes as he asked what I bought that bag of wooden blocks for.
Oops, I'm short an L.
Guess I'm going to keep my eyes open for some more blocks, honey. ;-).
Happy First Day of March to You!!!
Love your blocks! I have some of them too.
ReplyDeleteYou already have blooming daffodils to pick!?
Wow lucky you. They look beautiful!
We should never stop playing, tell the husband. I love the colorful blocks. A perfect way to say "spring is one the way." And most definitely with your pretty bouquet!

I just got the same look from my hubby when I bought another old scrabble game. I need the letters! Make perfect sense to me!!
ReplyDeleteNothing silly about this post...I adore all these things!!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I'm singing a happy tune today, too! And I went to the park to walk and the dogwoods were blooming! That surprised me! ♥
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute, cute post!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smile!! :)
Now that was a fun post. I have blocks, too. Your kitchen looks so cheery and springy already. Do you happen to remember the color of your paint? (Not to change the subject or anything because I am certain that your beloved can be a sily man...can't everyone's?)
ReplyDeleteDear Kim...this is just too cute! A while back on one of our "out and about" days I found a little baggy of old wooden blocks and my hubby...I am sure could not understand why I just had to have that little set of wooden blocks. I went so far as to lay them all out in the little shop and make sure that each letter of the alphabet was there. My hubby even helped me to do this! How sweet was that? You have shared such sweet springtime! Simple Blessings ♥ Teri

ReplyDeleteThe yellow on my kitchen walls is actually wallpaper. You have to be up close to see the subtle pattern.
Kim, a good bag of blocks is hard to come by, you did good! I like your post and your embroideried bird. Oh, how I look forward to daffodils. The snow has been melted by heavy rains; the sun shone today for the first time. I noticed greenery poking out of the garden among the lilies and dianthus. Yep, it is coming!
ReplyDeleteNot so silly....just fun! I have blocks that spell our last name on a shelf in my kitchen!
ReplyDeleteblocks are too cute! your daffodils are georgous! and yes you hubby is sily to not know what you are doing with your blocks!
ReplyDeleteI ALWAYS love your blue and yellow colors... to me, they're such HAPPY colors.
ReplyDeleteYou're soooo cute....and .... you always make me smile!
Daffodils...... wow... so beautiful!
Hugs,
What a wonderful Happy way to start this March off. I have some daffodils, and have been putting off cutting them but after seeing yours I think I will be visiting the garden tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.

Sooooooooooo cute, Kim!
ReplyDeleteThe blocks are a great addition to your post!
Isn't the weather nice and everything is starting to bloom so pretty.
At the risk of repeating what everybody else said - so cute! Cannot believe that daffodils are blooming anywhere - ours are weeks away, but I will enjoy yours in the meantime. Happy spring!
ReplyDeleteAnd happy March to you! It looks a little more springy on your blog than it does in my neighbourhood right now. I prefer daffodils to snow come March!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! Happy March to you too, Kim!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Donna
