Starting March on a Silly Note

After a long quiet winter, waking up to a birdie chorus makes me want to ...

Picking my first bouquet of these also makes me want to SING ...

'Cause no matter what the calendar says, I know that these two things can only mean one thing ...

Now doesn't that just have a nice . . .

:), ;-), =), :)

And to think the hubby rolled his eyes as he asked what I bought that bag of wooden blocks for.

Oops, I'm short an L.
Guess I'm going to keep my eyes open for some more blocks, honey. ;-).

Happy First Day of March to You!!!

  7. Now that was a fun post. I have blocks, too. Your kitchen looks so cheery and springy already. Do you happen to remember the color of your paint? (Not to change the subject or anything because I am certain that your beloved can be a sily man...can't everyone's?)

  8. Dear Kim...this is just too cute! A while back on one of our "out and about" days I found a little baggy of old wooden blocks and my hubby...I am sure could not understand why I just had to have that little set of wooden blocks. I went so far as to lay them all out in the little shop and make sure that each letter of the alphabet was there. My hubby even helped me to do this! How sweet was that? You have shared such sweet springtime! Simple Blessings ♥ Teri

  9. Vee:
The yellow on my kitchen walls is actually wallpaper. You have to be up close to see the subtle pattern.

  10. Kim, a good bag of blocks is hard to come by, you did good! I like your post and your embroideried bird. Oh, how I look forward to daffodils. The snow has been melted by heavy rains; the sun shone today for the first time. I noticed greenery poking out of the garden among the lilies and dianthus. Yep, it is coming!
