This is so cute Kim, and you have more ripe than I do,I have only found one ripe one this week. But I know how it feels to go out and find those red berries looking back at you. Enjoy. Sue
I planted a few things this year and I tried strawberries for the first time, too. I have a very small garden. Just wanted to try a couple thing. Have a good weekend, Kim! Watch those bunnies..they multiply quickly, you know. lol
I love strawberries and we are going to plant some this year if we can decide where to put them. I'm still seeing plants at the garden centers, so I hope we're not too late. Cute photo!
Your strawberry looks like mine. I'm so proud!!!! I planted the little plant last year and it didn't do piddly-squat..... it lived through the winter, and by golly it looks beautiful ...with 16 little strawberries on it.... they taste good.
Your little bunny is sure eyeing that strawberry... Hugs,
I don't trust that bunny! Maybe YOU should just eat it now. That is so cool that you are growing your own strawberries. I'm pretty sure that if I tried to grow any, the squirrels and rabbits would get to them before I did. ...like they have done with my basil and bell peppers in the past. I have to grow twice as many as I want, so that I get a few.
Hi Kim! Love strawberries. I cannot believe that yours are already turning red. You cannot plant them here until May. Be careful though or that bunny might nibble it up before you get it...lol.
LOL that is cute..it really looks like he is eying them for sure! ;D
ReplyDeleteI love to grow strawberries...you can check them every day and usually pick a few! Put a fence up! heehee! ♥

ReplyDeleteHow cute! I never have luck with strawberries or raspberries, but we do have a large blueberry patch here. Just wish I loved blueberries! :-)
