Don't Even Think About It, Mr. Bunny

I planted strawberries for the first time.
I was so excited to see them turning red.
Looks like I'm not the only one who's excited about it.

  7. I love strawberries and we are going to plant some this year if we can decide where to put them. I'm still seeing plants at the garden centers, so I hope we're not too late. Cute photo!

  8. Your strawberry looks like mine. I'm so proud!!!! I planted the little plant last year and it didn't do piddly-squat..... it lived through the winter, and by golly it looks beautiful ...with 16 little strawberries on it.... they taste good.

Your little bunny is sure eyeing that strawberry...

  10. I don't trust that bunny! Maybe YOU should just eat it now. That is so cool that you are growing your own strawberries. I'm pretty sure that if I tried to grow any, the squirrels and rabbits would get to them before I did. ...like they have done with my basil and bell peppers in the past. I have to grow twice as many as I want, so that I get a few.

  15. Hi Kim! Love strawberries. I cannot believe that yours are already turning red. You cannot plant them here until May. Be careful though or that bunny might nibble it up before you get it...lol.

Thank you for your sweet & kind comments! Like you, sitting on the porch enjoying the water is one of our favorite things to do! Happy Easter~
