I, for one, would miss you if you stopped. But I completely understand. I've had times this winter, when I've stepped away from the computer and found myself doing useful things. Then I fall back into old habits. So, I've been having some of the same thoughts. Then I went and signed up for this A to Z Challenge... What was I thinking??
We all hit these walls. I learned how to do both when my back kicked up. I no longer sit staring at the screen. I give myself 15 minutes on and 45 minutes off an hour and most evenings I'm not here at all. It does help to have a plan/formula/theory/something. Don't be gone too long because you'd be horribly missed!
It's good to re-evaluate from time to time. You will find if you take some time off, you will be welcomed! back. But it is so important keep a good balance. I'd take Vee's advice! (already have)
I understand how you feel! I took an unplanned break recently, but I have to confess that not having to think about blogging for a few days was nice. But then, I began to miss seeing what everyone was doing and was glad to get back. Hope you enjoy your break, but decide to stay around. We'd certainly miss your beautiful posts! Maybe just taking a bloggy break now and then is the answer. That is what I'm going to try. Have a great week!
Ah all of us bloggers go through this. I've tried a few times to give it up but never can keep away. It is good to take a break every once in a while. I hope you don't stay away to long. I shall surely miss you!!
I go through that same dilemma every other week! And with summer coming, I know I'll blog less and less. I hope you decide to continue, because although I rarely comment, I do enjoy my visits here!
Kim, I hope you find a way to cut back time spent at the computer without leaving the blog completely. I would miss you if you left. I went through this myself a little while ago..... now I blog when I can and don't worry about it when I can't. Real life has to come first. I try to keep my own posts short and not use as many pictures. And that saves both me and my readers time.
Dear Kim...I understand your feelings so well! I ponder this so often. I hope that your time away will be refreshing! Easter blessings to you and your family! Hugs ♥ Teri
Dear Kim, I so understand your thought process. I think we all face the same thoughts from time to time, and I must admit that I personally have often contemplated closing down my blog post. But, I have learned so much from others, I have met so many incredibly gifted ladies, and have been so inspired at times when I really needed it. You, are one of those dear ladies that have blessed me, encouraged me, and inspired me so often. Thank you for that!
I usually only blog my husband is watching sports or when my house is quiet. But, even so I face the same question that you do. You sure would be missed though!
Yes Kim, I know what you mean. When we first start out, it is exciting and new, but sometimes we put so much into our blogs that we lose touch on what's going on in the world. I have noticed many bloggy friends feeling this way. We are all here to support and love one another, and that is what I am here to do with you. I really enjoy your blog, and you take wonderful pictures, so just know that you are appreciated, and I am thinking of you today. ~Sheri at Red Rose Alley
Thank you for your beautiful blog posts. I do understand your concerns, but I so hope that you decide to "stay"! I have been dealing with some sadness this year and your uplifting blog posts have been such a blessing to me. Again, thank you Kim!

I know what you mean. I haven't been around much lately and although it has been hard at first, I am now satisfied with a few minutes of blogging every now and then. Enjoy spring outdoors!
Hi Kim, Oh, I understand, and I would miss you. You are a lovely person and have a wonderful blog, but sometimes...well, I just understand, life gets in the way. :)
Enjoy your day, and thank you for all your kind and sweet comments on my blog and your love and support.
I understand, Kim. I hope you don't decide to stop blogging. I'd miss you!

ReplyDeleteI would really miss you. I love coming to your blog and reading. Maybe you could take a break and come back later. I do that a couple of times a year.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy some time to enjoy life. I think about it, too...but I love it so much! It's hard to know if I'm balanced or not.
