Thankfully, it is not a war zone any more as the laws and cops here are very strict - zero tolerance. Of course, in every development, there are a few who believe that the laws don't apply to them. My birds aren't crazy about them, either. xo

Oh I love it! Our town council meets in August. They're off in July...can you imagine? So they're leaving us with the nightmare that is fireworks every night until all hours for the next several weeks. I could lose my mind. (We have only had two nights of no fireworks in weeks and weeks.)
Peanut is adorable, I love how he has his little paws crossed. I'm with him, I don't like fireworks either. I don't like them because the noise is so frightening to animals. His expression is priceless!
