It looks like my plans for hot cocoa sipping and snowman building won't materialize today. Our snow event which promised 2-5 inches turned out to be a mere dusting.
But, that's okay by me as we also have this:
which, after a week of gray skies, fog and rain, is truly a sight for sore eyes.
I'm off to fill the bird feeders now.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
The sky is finally blue here today with a nice bright sun. It's heavenly even if it is cold.
ReplyDeleteA happy weekend to you.
That Iago sounds like a real dud. What a lot of hype! So glad that you have your blue skies.
ReplyDeleteBlue sky and a skiff of snow sound like a perfect winter's day. Glad the worst of it missed you.
ReplyDeleteLOL same here, I do believe you had a little more dusting than we did.
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful the sun was shinning .
Enjoy your weekend.
Sue
I had to smile at the amount of your first snowfall, ours was close to a foot back in November. At least you have blue skies, we are known in Ontario for our dreary days throughout winter.
ReplyDeleteYour reference to homey TV shows of the past in a previous post is right on the mark with me too. Why can't we have something like this today to educate the 'me' generation? My family has called me June Cleaver for a long time because of the aprons I wear and the housecleaning I do. Haven't worn my pearls dusting yet though! :-)

Kim, we only had snow for about 15 mins. and like you said that is all right with me! Our blue skies yesterday and today have been gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to send you some of our very cold weather right now, and then if I could I would send you a nice, big snowstorm:) The fun thing about you having snow, you could make it look beautiful no matter how many inches you had. I am helping out my mother by feeding her birds too.
ReplyDeleteHi Kim...I think that your first snowfall was pretty ... even though it was very light. We have had some very cold weather here ... although today we had lots of sunshine and it was 50 degrees. Enjoy your week! Blessings ♥ Teri
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, We just had a few flurries. This morning we had some beautiful frost in the back yard, but now the sun is shining and it's a pretty day!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week!
Donna
Those are beautiful blue skies!
