Thanksgiving Wishes

It's heartwarming to know that in homes all across the country preparations are being made to come together and give thanks for our many blessings.
Since we won't be hosting this year I've decided to relax this evening.  In the morning I look forward to some quiet time in the kitchen baking the apple pie and butternut squash dish I will be bringing.  It will be a good time to reflect on the many things I have to be thankful for.

Tonight I'd like to wish all of my American friends a very
Happy Thanksgiving
and to all who take the time to visit and share kind words with me I am thankful to have come to know you through the blogging world.

Blessings and Love from my home to yours,

  1. Thank you dear Kim - my good wishes to you and your family for a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I'm doing 'soup to nuts' and goodness what a lot of work. To top things off I managed to plug up the garbage disposal at 3 pm when up to my eyebrows in veggie prep - thankfully my daughter's boyfriend came and fixed it!

    Hugs - Mary

  2. Kim, love those Pilgrims! And the platter, too. How pleasant to be relaxing this evening...I have one pie to go, but nearly everything else is accomplished. John came home with an apple pie from the pie sale. I was very pleased...not a favorite to make. Somehow, I think you are one who enjoys the process, though. When I think of you tomorrow, I'll see you putting together an apple pie. Enjoy the day and being with your family.
