On warm, sunny days the garden is calling.
Of course, the sun isn't always shining in the springtime. Good thing we keep our umbrellas and rain bonnets handy.
It's important to keep our pocketbooks handy too. After all Easter is coming and we need Easter outfits, carrots, hams, carrots, chocolate bunnies, carrots and jelly beans. There's shopping to be done.
And, of course, we want to keep the children happy.
There are eggs to be dyed.
Baskets to be filled.
And we certainly don't want to neglect our honey bunnies.
Oh my goodness, it's time to hop to it.
But, before I do, I'll leave this little thought for you.

Have a hoppy happy weekend.

ReplyDeleteThank you for waking me up. It is almost Easter and I had not even thought of an easter ham. My son was born on easter sunday . And his fav. food is a big baked ham. So every easter even if it does not land on his birthday we still make a big deal out of it with a big baked ham. But this year a ham never entered my mind. Cooking on easter never entered my mind. I am so glad I read your post. I need to get to the store this week and get a nice ham on sale . Thanks. I have been stuck in this house way to long. :)
ReplyDeleteOh and I love the bunnies. Your great!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so fortunate to have all those cute old pieces. Would some of those have been your mothers? I see pieces like that in the antique malls, and they always remind me of my grandma and the early years of my mother's life. You creatively shared these with some great Easter facts. This was so well done.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comments on my blog.
Your bunnies are so sweet and each one looks like he/she has a history of times past.

Cute cute cute! Perfect for springtime and Easter.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet and pretty post! I had a good laugh at your previous post too. I hate shopping for clothes and shoes. I figure I have enough, why buy more. It's hard to figure out just what my style is. I know what I feel comfortable in and I'm all about comfort now. No more high heels for me! Love that top with the golden bag. Fabulous! Have a great weekend. :) Tammy
