Magnolia.
Blooming in my garden this morning.
While doing my garden chores my nose detected that familiar soft, sweet scent.
Hidden behind a large grouping of hydrangeas was this big, beautiful magnolia blossom.
So sturdy, yet so delicate.
A lovely start to my day.
In case magnolias don't grow in your corner, I want to share mine with you and wish you a lovely day.

That's one stunning blossom. So architectural and strong, yet delicate. Beautiful photo. Thanks for sharing your magnolia.
ReplyDeleteI love those beautiful magnolias that are so often found in silk arrangements. We grow many magnolias here as well but not the beautiful big white ones.
ReplyDeleteSuch milky purity...thank you for sharing this photo with us. We don't have such delights here.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Sadly, we have no magnolias. Thank you for sharing yours!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your lovely Magnolia, Kim. I agree, it's stunning.

Thank you. : ) They are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteDon't think there are any around here and if there are they sure wouldn't be blooming yet. : )
Oh, Kim, only ones I have here are.....faux! Imposters! I would love to smell a real one one day. xo
ReplyDeleteI love the sweet smell of magnolias. Your bloom is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI can almost smell it's sweet aroma right here. I clearly remember visiting my son-in-law's family in GA, and his mother had a magnolia in a vase in our bedroom. It was so fragrant, and was the nicest gesture. Your pictures bring back that special memory for me.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! And I can almost catch of whiff of it from here!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful flower and so are your photos!
