M is for. . .

 Magnolia.
Blooming in my garden this morning.

While doing my garden chores my nose detected that familiar soft, sweet scent.
Hidden behind a large grouping of hydrangeas was this big, beautiful magnolia blossom.
So sturdy, yet so delicate.
A lovely start to my day.
In case magnolias don't grow in your corner, I want to share mine with you and wish you a lovely day.

  2. I love those beautiful magnolias that are so often found in silk arrangements. We grow many magnolias here as well but not the beautiful big white ones.

  9. I can almost smell it's sweet aroma right here. I clearly remember visiting my son-in-law's family in GA, and his mother had a magnolia in a vase in our bedroom. It was so fragrant, and was the nicest gesture. Your pictures bring back that special memory for me.
