Thankful Thoughts ~ Day 6

My thankful thoughts aren't necessarily going to be deeply pondered thoughts.  More like little things that pop into my head on a particular day that I am thankful for.  Things like the perfect pair of warm slippers.

Last winter I was in need of a new pair.
I loved my previous pair and thought it would be easy to find the exact same ones.
Nope, not the case.
I brought several different ones home.
They ended up being too long or too wide.
Seems like a lot of slippers come in size ranges.
One of these was too small and the other way too big.
I think Brett was getting tired of me talking about my hunt for the perfect slippers.
One day while at BJs he checked out the women's slippers and came home with this pair.
They met all of my specifications and fit perfectly.
Our weather is just now starting to get chilly,
Not quite chilly enough to warrant the furnace, but definitely chilly enough to snuggle one's toes into a pair of soft, warm slippers.

  1. Kim, I think counting little blessings like warm slippers is perfect! I think little thoughts like that all the time. It's a good thing we don't have to have something bit all the time. :)

  3. As a person who has chilly feet 10 months of the year I also appreciate warm slippers.

  4. Those slippers are not only warm and cozy looking, they look good on too. I go around in socks all the time and have sure worn out many a pair.

  6. Warm and comfy...always good. How low does the temp have to go before you folks put on the furnace? Mine was on in September for chilly mornings. Maybe I am a wimp!

    1. We've had unseasonably warm weather so far this fall. Normally it probably would have been on by now. I predict it will be within the next week or two.

  7. Small blessing maybe, but I hate having cold feet! :-)
